Community Bible Church of St Augustine is a gathering of ordinary people who have been transformed by an extraordinary gospel - Jesus Christ died and was raised so that sinners would be reconciled to God. We have a passion to proclaim and live this message.  We invite you to join us on Sundays at 10:30am and Wednesdays at 6:30pm.

If this is your first time to visit Community Bible Church, here's a brief description of what you can expect during your visit.

Getting Here

CBC is located on US 1 South (see map at bottom of this page). If you are coming from Palm Coast or Wildwood Drive area you will go north on US 1 until you pass the intersection of US 1 and Old Moultrie. The church will be on your right hand side just past the Volkswagon dealership. If coming from downtown St. Augustine, or SR 312 (beaches) you will go south on US 1 until you pass Ace Hardware. The church will be on your left side.

Things to Know

When you walk through the doors, our greeters will be available to welcome you and give you directions to education classes, children's classes as well as our nursery.

The Equipping Hour (Sunday School) begins at 9:30 and classes are available for all ages.

Coffee and snacks are available in the Fellowship Hall starting at 9:00am and in between equipping hour classes and the main service at 10:30. Coffee/Hot Chocolate or Water/Lemonade are also served after the 10:30 service either outside under the oak tree or in the book store depending on the time of year. These are great times to fellowship with others as well as speak with church leaders.

The Agora Bookstore is a great place to go for trusted resources for your personal growth and edification. Please stop by and check it out!

Worship Service

The service includes singing, prayer, scripture reading and the proclamation of God’s Word.

The worship team leads the congregation in music - a blend of traditional and contemporary songs. After each service, our leaders are available for counseling, prayer, and questions about our church.

You're going to find a variety of dress at CBC, so we invite you to come as you are. You will find people dressed in suits and dresses worshiping along side people wearing polo shirts and jeans. You'll even find some in shorts and sandals if it's a nice, warm Florida day.

Proclaiming God’s Grace and Truth

Our pastor leads us through the Bible, verse by verse in an expository style.  The messages explain what the Bible says and what the Bible means in ways that practically connect with life. If you want to hear the latest message, visit the Resources page to listen to recent sermons.

Children

During our Equipping Hour (9:30-10:15) we have several children's classes for all ages. During the worship service, children age 4 - First Grade are dismissed prior to the sermon to take part in Children's Church. Our nursery workers are available during the Equipping Hour and Worship Service to care for infants - 3-year olds.

Special Needs

We welcome visitors with special needs. All of our facility is handicap accessible and we provide a special equipping hour class for developmentally disabled youth and adults. We also have assisted hearing devices available during the main service and an ASL interpreter can be arranged if you give the church office notice prior to your visit.

It is our goal that anyone visiting our church will feel immediately welcome and "part of the family". Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have prior to visiting us on Wednesday Night or Sunday morning to make your visit more comfortable. We look forward to meeting you!
