Elders

The teaching of the New Testament is for the church to be led by a plurality of qualified men called Elders (Acts 20:28) who equally shepherd the local church. Elders are the spiritual overseers of the church. To them are committed the responsbilities of being examples to the flock (1 Peter 5:1-3), giving the church direction (1 Timothy 5:17) teaching (1 Timothy 3:2; Titus 1:9) and leading the congregation (1 Timothy 3:5, 5:17; Romans 12:8; 1 Thessalonians 5:12; Hebrews 13:7,17).

Our church has been blessed with godly elders who shepherd us willingly, eagerly, and humbly. Please take a moment to become familiar with our current Community Bible Church elders.

Deacons

The New Testament teaches that certain qualified, godly individuals shall serve in the church as deacons. Deacons may be called on by the elder board to assist them in shepherding the saints, caring for the sick and needy, helping in the general physical care of church facilities, and in performing various other duties.

Our church has been blessed with godly deacons who serve willingly and eagerly. Please take a moment to become familiar with our current Community Bible Church deacons.
