CBC Kids
We love children and we want you to know that we provide a safe and sound environment for your child. Our nursery and children’s ministry is staffed by moms and grandmothers from our church body who love children and who serve on a rotation basis.
Proverbs 22:6 states to “train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” At CBC we want to come alongside our families to help with this work with your little ones by teaching them about the world God created for them, the Savior He sent to save them, as well as how to share and be kind to others.
Our check-in and check-out process is designed with safety in mind. When you arrive, there will be people available to help you with this process and to answer any questions that you may have.
Equipping Hour Bible Study
This is our Adult Sunday School Class where we have the opportunity to hear faithful biblical teaching and to enjoy loving fellowship. But most of all our goal through the teaching and fellowship is that we all grow to become more like our Savior (Romans 8:29) in order that our lives are changed weekly in order to glorify Christ and to be a genuine Christian testimony to the world around us. Our current study is the book of Hosea.
We gather before our Worship Service every Sunday morning at 9:30, but come early to enjoy coffee and danishes.
Doulos Cafe Mid Week Study
This is our Wednesday evening Adult Ministry that goes from September – May, 6:30pm – 7:30pm
We meet together to enjoy good coffee, baked goods, and most importantly we study to take every thought captive in obedience to Christ. We are using the word “Doulos” (slave) to express our serious-minded passion to live for our great God and Savior. We are currently studying a subject call Soteriology – The Study of Man, Sin and Salvation through Christ.
SAM – Senior Adult Ministry
SAM members meet from October to May on the second Thursday of each month for fellowship and a time of study or a presentation from local associations and businesses. Various special events are also planned throughout the year that take us to local attractions.
Patriarch’s Men’s Bible Study
This is our monthly men’s ministry meeting which is designed to encourage each of us to learn how to fulfill this high calling of being a “man of God.” We explore all areas of Christians living in order that we might be men who do not merely live for themselves but live for Christ and others. Our current study is the book entitled “Eight Lies that Sound Like the Truth” by Jared Wilson.
Special Needs and Hearing Assistance
We welcome visitors with special needs. All of our facility is handicap accessible and we provide a special equipping hour class for developmentally disabled youth and adults.
We have installed a Hearing Loop in the sanctuary to assist those with hearing loss hear more clearly during services. A Hearing Loop is an assistive listening system that transmits sound directly into ones’ hearing aids or cochlear implants rather than depending on sound coming from the loudspeakers. To receive the Loop signal, manually activate your T-coil or telephone setting on your hearing aid or cochlear implant. If you don’t know if you have a T-coil or if yours is properly programmed, consult with your audiologist or hearing aid professional. If you don’t wear hearing aids, ask to use a Loop receiver to receive the sound.
